The company started its operations in Bulgaria in 2005 and since August 2007 is publicly traded on the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE: LDMS). Leadmas Properties Plc is a real estate development company active in acquisitions, development, marketing, sales and management of residential and commercial real estate assets. The company was established as a joint venture between Leader Real Estate International Ltd and Banski Properties, currently operating in Eastern Europe, predominantly in Romania and Bulgaria. The invested financial resources in Bulgaria and Romania are expected to generate sales of 561 million Euros. The equity of the company for 2007 is 29 million Euros. The cities of Sofia and Bucharest were recently established as essential commercial and residential locations with high priority. In the last few years the residential markets in Romania and Bulgaria made an upward shift in demand, especially after EU accession in 2007. Among other reasons the growing demand occurred as a result of the improving quality of life, standard of living, the steadily increasing per capita income rate, and the permanently growing purchasing power of the middle class.
